  2. Your flowers are very lovely. July is the peak of the season for my flowers. Hard to believe summer is half over. Won't be long and the mums will be in bloom.

  3. Nice astilbe! We bought a bunch several years back - planted half, gave the other half to my sister-in-law. Hers grew like crazy and looks great. Ours has pathetically limped along, and less of it comes back every year. Hmph.

    These bring such memories back of summers as a youth and young man in Wisconsin and Minnesota. I can smell the summer fragrance from here. Your place here does me wonders in the midst of New Zealand winter.
