One of the great all-time instrumentals from the sixties by Paul Mauriat.

"Blue, blue, my world is blue. Blue is my world now I'm without you."
Then Mrs. Indigo Bunting showed up a few minutes later.
And now there is a first time ever family of them living in my South Garden. Wow!

"Gray, gray my life is gray
Cold is my heart since you went away"
Cold is my heart since you went away"
The Gnatcatcher was very hard to catch in the fence line thicket this spring. Now he is gone.
"Red, red, my eyes are red, crying for you alone in my bed"
"Green, green, my jealous heart
I doubted you and now were apart."
The Green Heron left his perch and flew silently into the forest."When we met how the bright sun shone Then love died, now the rainbow is gone Black, black, the nights I’ve known, longing for you so lost and alone."
We're up here dear, in Troutbirders feeder!

Many famous singers recoreded Love Is Blue. My favorite was a 18 year old Greek girl. Her name is Vicky Leandros. The year is 1968. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5tPUljBnXM

Clever, clever post!
I have that album!
What an artistic post! You must have a MUCH better camera than I (as does nearly everyone I know.) Perhaps in the next year or two that might change? ;-)
Ha! Colorful post! :o)
Enjoyed this post. Also like the photo in your header.
Very creative post!! How I wish a indigo bunting would show up at my feeder :( ..but since someone maybe was a little blue I am glad it showed up for you!!

Oh my first thought was the same as Lynne at Hasty Brook..a very clever post and lovely photography.
Hi There, We're home after a wonderful weekend in the gorgeous North Carolina mountains. I'll post in the morning.
Great post, TB.... Love your bunting. We don't have them--or at least I haven't seen one around here.
My world is BLUE also--since I have bluebirds nesting in my yard. YEAH!!!
Hope you had a great weekend.
Betsy
Troutbirder, wonderful photos. Congratulations on luring those birds to nest on your property. For me, seeing birds anywhere is great, but if I can offer them habitat to stay, I'm really pleased.
