  4. After a lifetime of hounds (msot recently Roly the Ridgeback), we have a lab/border collie cross and she's a FETCHER. Wow, this stick throwing thing is fun, especially around water. Next week or so we'll see how she does with Blue Grouse.

  6. I used to raise and train Brittany Spaniels. Now most of the birds have been eliminated by clean farming and poison to control grasshoppers. There is no joy like seeing the dog go on point and then make the retrieve. Some retrieves are family legends. Fun days!

  8. Neat way to cool off..now the handsome dog wants you to throw it again..I always wonder, at this point, who has trained who..tee he
    ...even better..in my back yard..I sometimes have to fetch the ball as my 12 yr old doggie takes the toy and hides it in the garden!!
