Sanford has two protagonists who work for the bCA. First in the prey novels davenport smart rich and sophisticated. Whereby there are plenty of fictional cops and private eyes with anger issues, woman troubles and drinking problems and then there's virtual flowers- the New York Times book reviewSo cutting to the chase leads Virgil flowers to the investigation of a very different and shocking kind of crimeinvolving a school boardof all things the settings in the crimes of course seem much more appropriate and added to all of that where the hunting dogs who are stolen and complicated the mystery even more reminding me of Sherlock Holmes and the homes of the Baskervilles
