Four Seasons of the GSD

This digital camera thing is getting way out of hand. I must have hundreds of pictures of my big baby. That is to say Baron, the now four year old overpampered pooch a.k.a GSD (that's German Shepherd Dog). Alias, according to Mrs. T. German Shedding Dog. Here are just a few from our year round romps.

  1. Hmmm....

    Nope....

I don't think one can have too many photos of their four legged friends. Of course, having a 10 year old cat and averaging 1000 photos a year of him ~ perhaps I'm a little bias... :)

And Baron is so beautiful ~ how could you not take so many photos of him! Adorable! Or should I say 'very handsome'! haha!

    Happy Saturday friend!

  2. I know from experience that there's nothing like a faithful dog/cat to enjoy the seasons of the year with. Your photos are beautiful and Baron is very handsome! Have a great weekend.

  4. Hi troutbirder! I believe Baron is due this post. After all, he is truly a constant companion (leader?) whenever you're outdoors. He's a beautiful dog, a best friend, and so good natured. GSD = German Shepherd Dog, German Shedding Dog, or Great Smiling Dog.

  6. Baron certainly is a handsome companion and I doubt that it would be possible to have too many pictures of him. It's good that the two of you get our year-round. But I just want to know if you take Baron on walks or if he takes you?

  9. I am naked this wekend without mine. I am at the lake and left my pack on the table at home. My daughter has one somewhere, but I am yet to find it. I am alone all weekend with 2 little ones.I had hoped to get lots. Tried a few with the phone.I do monthly files and have some larger ones like fish caught.

  10. Great pics of you & your GSD/dear friend for all seasons. Looks like either one of you would be lost without the other ;)

  12. You can't have too many pictures of your best friend. Can you? If so, I AM guilty as charged.

  13. German Shedding Dog....ha ha ha. You made me laugh, again. No such things as too many photos of the pets, the grandchildren or the garden.

  14. German Shedding Dog is right. I sweep up at least one medium-sized Yorkie off of the floor twice a day.

But I love 'em. Just tell your wife it could be worse -- you could have two GSDs. ;)

  15. He's with you in every season, man's best friend. What a beautiful dog Baron is. Of course, they're all pretty bad about shedding. Can it be that a German shepard sheds as much as a yellow Lab? Surely not. We have goldish hair decorating our carpets at all times.

  19. That last shot is particularly lovely, with those fall colors.

Worry not about so many dog photos. They are wonderful companions & it's better to see more of them than less. Sometimes I ache to have a dog again--they so fill one's soul--it's just not very practical in my life right now.

  21. Howdy! Yes indeed, we do have interests in common. I can tell you we have one more. German Shepard dogs. I've had the pleasure or raising two of them. Brilliant dogs. I love them. It looks like you're enjoying retirement. I'm 55 and it's way down the road for me. I may need a GPS to find it. I've lived in Minnesota all my life. I'm south of the Twin Cities. Are you north, south east or west?
