We're Back!

It's always good to come home but we had a wonderful three weeks visiting our son and his family in Arizona. They had moved from Colorado to new jobs (in education) in the Phoenix area. Specifically Scottsdale and Queen's Creek. On the way down we stopped at The Petrified Forest National Park. Going home it was a detour through the southern Ozarks in Arkansas. Once I get the tons of pictures sorted out......

  1. Oh, it look so dry and, well, cactus-y there! So different from my own home, I had forgotten. Cute family, they look like they are having fun.

  2. Lovely time indeed. I used to camp in Queen Annes canyon near there. I went to school in Tucson at the U of AZ.

  11. It sounds as if you had a wonderful trip, and I look forward to seeing more pictures. I still haven't organized all of my pictures from the Petrified Forest, and we visited in June.
You definitely have a very handsome family.

  14. How nice for you and Mrs. Ray -- a warm place to escape to when the snow and wind get on your nerves in mid-January!

My youngest sister lives in Mesa and is a teacher as well.
