Hold it! This is not a rant on the Minnesota Legislatures recent legalization of medical marijuana. While the nation clearly faces many serious problems, judging by the number of
ignored signs I have seen warning people not to tramp on lawns, thereby damaging the grass, that issue is clearly one of them. Most of these courteous warning signs appear to be totally in vain. Based on personal observation, one state has definitely gone a long way toward solving this serious problem.
Based upon numerous recent observations, it appears that Montana does have a sign that gets peoples attention.
Why even Mrs. Troutbirder stayed on the sidewalk!
That is the BEST sign yet! I love it, and I would follow it, too. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat rest stop is that? In eastern Montana somewhere? I've seen more than a few out on the Big Hole, particularly in the canyon stretch.
ReplyDeleteFor a moment there I thought the word 'please' played a part in keeping folk off the grass. Rattlesnakes... my word. I would obey to the letter if I saw that sign.
ReplyDeleteNice idea for a theme.
ReplyDeleteHa! This is brilliant!! The rattlesnake signs have worked for me. :)
ReplyDeleteThat would deter me ...for sure !!!
ReplyDeleteYep. The rattlesnake sign would make me take note.
ReplyDeleteFun post! Yep, that rattlesnake sign should do it!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Love it!

ReplyDeleteThat would do it for me!!
ReplyDeleteMontana has some clever citizens. Yep, I'd stay on the sidewalk! :-)
