See ya later Alligator!

They were everywhere. National parks and wildlife refuges, state, county and city parks and natural areas. Looking sleepy but always watching....dangerous. My main job seemed to be to prevent Mrs. T. from getting too close. All  photos by Mrs. T.

OMG...very scary!! Were you walking past here? I hope you were using a telephoto lens and you weren't really this close! Yikes.

Those are some really cool shots, TB! I do hope you were using a zoom in some of them at least! :-)

I saw a nest of baby alligators once on Mobile St out toward Fort Morgan, Alabama. They were lying on top of each other, tummies up in the air the way kittens or puppies sleep- They could not have been more than a foot long.

I assume that you did a good job..the photos are wonderful Mrs. T. even if they are a tad scary.
14 1/2 inches of new white stuff and it is starting to blow around some:(

Sounds like a great adventure!
When we were in south Louisiana about two years ago we had hoped to see some gators.. which are normally prominent in ditches & everywhere there. We visited during their dormant season, though, so our only alligator experience was by way of stew/chili.

They look a lot dangerous and I am glad I don't have to live around them.

Looked at the pictures twice and concluded that they're definitely scary-looking. Probably scary-acting, too. Mrs. T took the photos, does that mean you were afraid to get that close? Wouldn't blame you. ha ha

Don't like them one little bit, but they are certainly survivors!

Great pix, Mrs. T.

She may have gotten a little close, at least for my comfort level!! Super photos, though. We're you there recently?

Crikey! I hope you had a powerful zoom lens. They are marvelous creatures if a bit scary.
