Daisy is a country girl. A little older, a lot wiser and
more sophisticated. Agile and quick. A real athlete. And not above being a big
tease. She belongs to Gary & Bobbi.
Baron. He lives in suburbia. He is tall and somewhat gangly. Kind of awkward at times. Not very worldly. He loves to chase & go for long hikes. He belongs to the Troutbirders.
She was abandoned, wandered a while but found a farm home with Steve and Jewel. Now she is contented to guard her new home. She arrived on Easter Sunday. Naturally her name is Lily. She has befriended Mrs. T who always gives her treats. She is content and very friendly.
For Baron with the extremely cold and snowy weather of late
there haven't been many romps in the woods. Even the dogs can’t wait till
spring.
So happy Lily found a forever home that suits her personality! xo
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad Lily found a good home. It gets me so angry to hear someone abandoned an animal. Poor baby! These are beautiful dogs...of course Baron is exceptionally handsome!! :-) How nice that they can play together!
ReplyDeleteI owned a German Shepherd once, about 40 years ago. His name was Banjo. They're very nice dogs. Now, we don't own any pets at all.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful German Shepherds--all of them. Amazing at all of the different personalities in dogs... Just like people!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have any spring either down here.. Think someone needs to wake up Mrs. Spring and tell her that it's time to visit us!!!!!
Happy Palm Sunday.
Hugs,
Betsy
Like the name Lily, it rings a bell
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely couple. What young fellow doesn't want an older woman in his life at one time or another.
ReplyDeleteSo nice that Lily's sad days are over and she has a wonderful home and a handsome playmate.
Beautiful babies... how blessed you all are to have each other
ReplyDeleteAre they gifts to us?
Or we to them?
they're just precious. bless them all with love and health.
ReplyDeleteSounds like Lily has found a wonderful home... and friends!
ReplyDeleteOh such wonderful playful dogs. And what great protectors of their homes. Nice for Lily that she found a loving home -- barbara
ReplyDeleteLove those German Shepherds. The only ones that shed more hair than our Goldens.
ReplyDeleteTis lovely that Lily found her own forever home! Not many romps happening here either..we had to snow blow a poop path..the snow is way to deep. No more taking short cuts through the woods:)
ReplyDeleteYou have some cool friends.
ReplyDeleteOh what lovely dogs. (of course,
ReplyDeletebaron is special). I love 'em......don;t have one, but I do have an assortment of other wonderful critters to love. How can anyone live without them?
Great happy ending and beautful dogs!
ReplyDeleteIs Daisy nearly Baron's size? I think of his being rather large. Looks like they get along well! Happy post! :-)
ReplyDeleteLily is a very fortunate gal. I love the last picture ... what a sweetheart.
ReplyDeleteWonderful that Lily has a home!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dogs!
ReplyDeleteHang on! Spring is nearly here. Well, actually, it is here, if you lived here. Sorry, I couldn't resist. Lovely dogs. Give them a pat on the head for me. I once was a GSD's person.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Baron and his friends. I can't wait for Spring.
ReplyDeleteI love that last photo. So cute.
ReplyDeleteGood to see that Baron has friends to romp with. At this point, I think we're all eager for spring!
I'm with the dogs-when it comes to wanting spring that is. that's a nice story!
ReplyDeletelove The Look in that last shot, your dogs are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSuch wonderful and really beautiful animals. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful dogs! You don't see many shepards anymore. Or Irish Setters. Or Collies, either. These were the dogs that were popular when I was young. Now, everyone has little pocket-sized dogs.
ReplyDeleteI hope you and Lily are doing okay! Your Baron was a once in a lifetime dog and boy they are hard to get over ...but maybe we aren't supposed to get over them :(
ReplyDeleteBaron looks as if he is pleading, “Please please can’t we go for a walk now?” Funny how they all have different personalities despite being the same breed. Baron, you are such a handsome boy!
ReplyDeleteDogs=Good. I've heard that German Shepards are very smart.
