At the county zoo.
Visiting a nature center in Rochester, Minn.
Deep underground in a mysterious cave.
Fishing
and catching crappies on beautiful Lake Zumbro. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Needless to say the grandparents are happy but quite exhausted......
Nothing like being a Grandparent.
ReplyDeleteEvery moment with our Grandchildren is a precious moment, indeed
Yo are so lucky. We don't get to see the grandchildren nearly enough. They are an ever-expanding universe for us older folks who find our own world shrinking in our retirement to smaller and more manageable bites.
ReplyDeleteNice! Looks like everybody is having a great time, TB. Except maybe that fish. :-)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lot of fun. It's always a whirlwind of activity when our kids/grandkids visit. We wouldn't miss it for the world, but we do require a bit of recuperation time afterward!
ReplyDeleteWow is your oldest grand getting TALL! I love his shirt (charlie rocked a batman shirt). Looks like so much fun sharing so many experiences.
ReplyDeleteI was expecting to see some exotic migrating bird species, they I realized it was the elusive Grandkids visit.
ReplyDeleteYou're all having a great time - I can tell by those smiling faces! They just grow up way too fast.
ReplyDeletei can imagine the laughs and fun you had! awesome!
ReplyDeleteYou may be exhausted, but it was all worth-while, wasn't it? Visits with grandchildren (and their parents) are always special. It looks as if you had a great time.
ReplyDeleteYou caught it beautifully, the excitement, the joy, the fatigue...
ReplyDeleteFun times, wish I had your boat. I am camping and fishing at Lake Red Rock, catching lots.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lot of fun going on there. Good for you all.
ReplyDeleteGeez---I want to come visit you guys. What a lot of fun!

ReplyDeleteYou guys did so many fun things.
That last photo says it all. :-)
Great photos -- those grandchildren are sure growing fast. They are beautiful or should I say handsome for the boys. You sure were busy with them! -- barbara

ReplyDeleteHappy but quite exhausted. That describes this set of grandparents after visits, too. But there is time afterwards to rest and savor those precious memories.
