Cabin Fever Part II

I'm not a big whiner and complainer....really! I deal with the facts, make adjustments and life goes on. Yes, indeed. A knee replacement lead me to give up skiing some years ago. A certain pill to slow and control the heart rate makes cold in the extremities a fact of life. I don't do a lot of ice fishing any more. I find TV extremely tedious (except ESPN & BTN) So I get bored. Reading and blogging in the winter can only take you so far. We go for rides.

Houston county is known for its Swiss like vistas and lots of deer. It's wooded hills and valley's make for great habitat. Take a look.Family portrait

Swamp deer?

Whatcha looking at girl?

GPS deer. Somebody is keeping track of her!

Cabin Fever! Take me for a ride. I know I'll feel better.

  1. We have to work hard at avoiding cabin fever and if it happens then we have to do something.

  2. We usually go for a walk ...that helps. We understand Cabin Fever but our prairies are not as good looking as your bluffs...and all our deer are down in the swamps:):)

  3. I wish I knew the answer.... I've started playing games on the ipad for something to do. TV is most uninteresting lately and with nobody to talk to except the cat I was desperate to fill in some time. I mean, you can't do housework forever, can you? Enjoyed looking at your photographs today.

  5. I hear you. I am fortunate to have a bus that will take me right downtown to the coffee shop and the gym, which I use to fill my days with companionship and exercise. Helps me immeasurably. :-)

  6. At least you can get out in the car. I understand about television and social media--both can become tedious and honestly, both get on my nerves. Do you have a local mall where you can get out to walk?

  7. I agree with you about television. I rarely watch it these days. Glad you can get out in the car and you made the most of your recent trip. Nice shots!

  8. I remember cabin fever well. The only cure is ... spring!
