Be Happy

"...no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy."

-- written by Max Ehrmann in the 1920s

  1. Wonderful pictures to go along with Desiderata, as I have always known it to be called. I am also glad you enjoyed The Life of Pi (I read it on your other blog). :-)

Your comment on the trapping shed door made me smile -- you DO understand. :)

  25. Touching base with Nature is good for the soul. Too many of our increasingly urban citizens never get close to Nature. If they do see nature it is from the car, train or plane and quite often sanitized. If this were less the case, more would speak up for the protection and preservation of our air, water, land and beautiful places.

  26. Thank you so much for the meaningful words and the beautiful photos. Not sure why, but I sometimes need to be reminded to be happy.

Your bluebird photo reminded me that we saw them in our yard several times last October, first time ever. See them often in NE Wisconsin but always where there are wide open spaces and never in my neighborhood.Looked at the photo again. Is that a bluebird? Ours were Eastern Bluebirds w/a rusty breast.
