Thanks and Help!

Several weeks ago with much ado and the help of several bloggers I was able to recover my "word free verification status" which had mysteriously been taken away.  Now this week eblog won't allow me to put pictures on my posts...... Grrrrrr.   Is this a common problem and is there a fix?
Thanks,
Ray (Troutbirder)

  2. It may be momentary and fix itself That happened to me last week. I couldn't publish a post with photos. I went into my Picassa ...you know that is where your photos go from blogger unless you put them someplace else for resizing? Some people run out of storage for photos and then it won't allow you to publish any photos. I pay $5.00 a year for photo storage, but I think their rates have gone up to $5.00 a month...maybe someone else knows.
    Hope this helps:(

  3. no idea on the photo loading. as for word verification, blogspot and google users can ignore it. the poor open i.d. folks (wordpress, typepad, etc.) still have to check the box.

  5. Dear Ray, I have no idea about the photo problem unless you are out of space... I don't think Blogger ever lets anyone know when they are out of space... I post a lot of pictures (and use Picasa and also resize my photos) --so I have never run out of space...Puzzling for sure!!!

I don't like the Embedded option --so I am still using the Pop Up Window (which I like), even though the Word Verification message is still there.. BUT--I tell people to ignore it and just hit publish.. That works... Good Luck with your problem.

    Merry Christmas.
    Hugs,
    Betsy

  6. I don't have a solution or advice, but I hope it works out soon. If you are out of photo space, I think you can get more by signing up for Google+ if you haven't already.

  7. I also resize my photos before I publish them, on iPhoto though instead of Picasa. I would try another browser to see if the problem with pictures still exists. I go back and forth between Safari and Chrome and if it won't work in one, it often does in the other. Good luck, and Merry Christmas! :-)

  9. Hmmmm...the photo problem may correct itself. Google the issue and see if anyone else is asking the same question.

Darn computers and blogs---great when they work...so frustrating when they don't. Ugh.

    Merry Christmas, my friend.

  11. In the upper right corner of your blog click on the wheel for help. It takes you to a forum where you can ask questions. It's very good. They gotten me out a couple of jambs. I hope it works for you.

  12. It would be nice of Blogger actually told us what it was up to. I will also follow Red's advice and click on the wheel, that is if I can find it.

  15. Try using another browser like Firefox (which you can download for free) if the problem hasn't been fixed already. I wish you a stress free holiday. Happy Christmas!

  16. I read once that there was a limitation to the amount of pictures blogger allowed but I don't know this for sure. I hope that you and your wonderful family had a wonderful Christmas and that we get to see more pictures soon.
