  1. Wow, looks like you really made the rounds in New England this fall! Nice pictures! It looks like you went at just the right time to catch the leaves changing, too!

  2. Thanks for sharing all of the fall grandeur of the north east with us! Those of us not able to travel there appreciate it! The next best thing to actually being there.

  8. These are so lovely. I've never been to New England in fall; I always try to plan to, but it just hasn't happened yet.

  9. Wow, it still looks like Thoreau's New England. As I looked out over those gorgeous hardwood forests, I couldn't help but thinking about "marching to the beat of a different drummer:" the ruffed grouse...

  11. Ditto to all the commenters. Leaf peepers united. How beautiful of you to share not only the pics, but the quiet way you surrendered to it all. This time next year...Maine will be my permanent home, these pics cause me to long for that future home presently. Thanks.

  14. The colors are so good. The Smokies' colors are good but nothing like New England.

  15. What a wonderful trip you had!! The Fall colors are beautiful! I'm sure the leaves are as colorful up there in Minnesota, though. :-)
