Summer Wildflower Dreams

This morning I awoke to subzero temperatures and forecasts for the next few days of "dangerous wind chills" in the -40 to -50 degree range. Yuk! Thinking summer thoughts, I found some solace in scanning through my Minnesota summer wildflower file.

  3. As the old saying goes,... "Thanks, I needed that!" True story! I can almost hear that bee buzzing on the goldenrod, and maybe crickets in the grass, and feel the warm sun. We're in the deep freeze here in the Adirondacks as well. Stay warm!

  8. Thanks for your encouraging comments on my blog and and the link to your blog. You have some very interesting comments about "Gary Owen," We Were Soldiers Once-and Young, and interdicting the Ho Chi Minh trail. All the best to you. Karl.

  9. Brrr, that’s even chillier than Maine. We’re single digit above zero highs this week and wind. Those summer photos do make me feel warmer, thanks!
