I think, perhaps, tomorrow will be our last biking outing for the year. It's been wonderful. I went often this year. By myself, with friends, and most important with Barb (Mrs. T.) Back in the saddle after recent bouts with cancer, gall bladder, and knee replacement surgery. She's one tough cookie. :)
Cheers to Mrs. T. for her grit in fighting her health battles. I wish I could have my spouse join me in my bike riding or hikes, but he's given up any physical activity. Me, I'm off to Zumba this morning. Hope you have a few more weeks of pleasant weather to enjoy!
ReplyDeleteBrava to Mrs. T! It is a beautiful day today- enjoy!
ReplyDeleteShe's a pretty, as well as a tough, cookie. I'm glad the two of you are biking again, and I hope next year brings more biking adventures.
ReplyDeleteGreat to see Mrs. Troutbirder back in the saddle! I usually bike to vote on election day and then store my bike for the winter. It's getting nippy in Maine too.
ReplyDeleteShe sure is a tough cookie. Great tribute.
ReplyDeleteShe IS a tough cookie! Kudos to her!
ReplyDeleteYAY for her!!
ReplyDeleteI'd say you are very blessed to have Mrs. T in your life. I'm glad this courageous and tough cookie is able to join you on your rides again.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, I think I need glasses as I added an "i" to the end of Bikin! So glad the two of you were able to bike this year. I prefer hikin to bikin myself although I didn't get to do any this year as my sister had both hips replaced at the beginning of the summer. Hats off to Mrs. T for getting back in the saddle.
ReplyDeleteI took mine camping this last week and scooted around not seeing many out.I put my poles on mine to fish so I can get back to that hidden hole.
ReplyDeleteAwww, bless her! You picked a good'n. :)
ReplyDelete'Bless her heart...she is a tough cookie alright!!! How great it is that she's back in the saddle again.
ReplyDeleteNow I want to make like Gene Autry! Heeehehehe!!!
God bless ya and have an incredible day!!! :o)
"Testicle Festival" ya hit the old nail right on the head!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit and comment over at my place! :o)
She sounds like a gal that is like the Energizer Bunny!! She keeps going and going and going and....
ReplyDeleteGood stuff!
Please tell her "You go girl!!" for me!
.....
Have you told her yet?
;)
xo Catherine
Mrs. T...you ROCK!!!
ReplyDeleteAs awful as serious illness/surgery may be, the one thing it does for us is to allow (or force) us to re-think our priorities. Yes, biking and enjoying the outdoors are higher on the list than vacuuming Baron's dog hairs.
She is a tough gal..way to go Mrs. T.!! :)
ReplyDeleteMay you and Mrs. T have many more wonderful bike-riding seasons together.
ReplyDeleteHope there's one more glorious Fall day for you & Mrs T to squeeze in another ride. If not, may the happy memories sustain you through our winter season.
ReplyDeleteLovely tribute to your wife. You must be a great pair!
