Ice Cream in the Backseat
It seems Mrs. T. has a serious addiction. Whenever and wherever we are within striking distance of a Dairy Queen she insists on stopping for a "treat". Since our new GSD Lily follows her everywhere, Lily gets to join in the festivities. The real life scenario does not include a second dog as in the following video but Lily could definitely play the part of "Cooper". Oh and the ice cream is free for dogs at our local Dairy Queen.....

Because what dog does not love ice cream?
ReplyDeleteWe love ice cream too! My iMac couldn't open the video.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't open the video, but fun to share with the dog. Lucky dog.
ReplyDeletePerfect time for ice cream, yummy, lily is so cute, Francine.
ReplyDeletecouldn't get the video to open, but could see the dog cone in my mind. :)
ReplyDeleteI could not watch the video ~ but I like your post. :-)
ReplyDeleteI also like how ice cream is free for dogs. :-)
Free for dogs? How lucky are you and Mrs T and Lily! I will have to ask..Chance likes a Cherry Sundae...I share mine with him..licks the whole thing clean...I agree DQ is the best and shouldn't be passed up! Mrs T and Lily rock! :)
ReplyDeleteI think dogs get a free timbit (donut hole) here, but probably not ice cream. BTW, I think maybe you missed a 'c' in addiction.
ReplyDeleteMy Jack Russell always gets a treat cone :) Otherwise, she wants to share mine.
ReplyDeleteYour wife and I have something in common.. We both love ice cream from the Dairy Queen... I especially love the Blizzards... Every year in October, my favorite is their special Pumpkin Blizzard... YUM...
ReplyDeleteWe don't have a dog --so I get to eat it all ---all by myself... ha ha
Hugs,
Betsy
I'm with your wife: always stop at DQ! :)))
ReplyDeleteI love the peanut buster bar.
Yummmm.
Craving one right now.
I watched the video and was feeling sorry for Cooper... until I saw why. Loved it, watched it twice. My dog used to like it too but eventually we had to restrict it for health reasons.
ReplyDeleteWe always got a baby cone for our dog when I was little.I give my pups the last few bites, although Lily is known for stealing a lick should one be off guard.
ReplyDeleteWe had a similar place that would fix the dog a small cone, but it rarely made it to the car...one of the girls would wolf it down.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chuckle -- great dog video -- barbara
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome hahaha
ReplyDeleteThat video was too funny. I share the ice cream treat addiction with Mrs. T, but I can't seem to limit it to one chain.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Nothing stands between a gal and her ice cream treat. Nope.
ReplyDeleteHave a most happy weekend my friend!
xo Catherine
How funny. Life is good in your 'hood!
ReplyDeleteIn honor of this post, I shall have some ice cream today :-)
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty neat that Lily gets free ice cream from Dairy Queen. I can understand why Mrs. T (and Lily) insist on stopping for a treat.
ReplyDeleteit's a dog's life indeed!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! I laughed so hard, I had to watch it again! It's probably a good thing I don't have a Dairy Queen too close - mmmmmm love blizzards!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Ms. T. Ice cream is my favorite. Loved the video. Sounds as if Lily might be a little spoiled. Her own ice cream in the back seat?
ReplyDeleteOkay then, picture me in your town, dressed in a dog costume. All summer long. FREE Ice Cream?!!!
ReplyDeleteBoth Lily's and Mrs. T's expressions are priceless!
