Giving Credit Where Credit Is Due

Being a wordy former history teacher,  I’m very conscious in my blogging of not becoming too verbose. That’s where Mrs. T. (the former English teacher) comes in.  Barb not only edits for me when I  demonstrate my grammar ineptitude but also provides the pictures that beautifully define what I'm trying to say.  The out of focus photos are usually mine….

Very rare white ladyslippers

Thanks Barb.....

  6. I agree, you are a great team. I love the butterfly bush. I have tried to get them to grow here. They seem to prefer ditches.

  9. How lucky for the both of you!
    Great shots!
BTW, I had tanagers here and didn't even notice! Kept wondering what that pale yellowish bird was that I saw all the time. Then a neighbor's kid mentioned my cardinal had black wings! Well, I have so many cardinals I had not noticed the male tanager! duh!

  10. I love photos of flowers, and Mrs T certainly captured a variety of blooms I rarely see. And, of course, you are fortunate to have your own editor.

I, too, am a former English teacher. But I think the last quarter century of my working days were writing for a marine science research agency and a marine science research institution.

It encouraged verbosity, and obviously I have not won that battle.

  15. Lovely photos. Thankfully, my husband never gets involved in my blogging posts. I don't take criticism well. Besides, that's my job. I edit his writing. I do need an editor though. Perhaps, Mrs. T. would help me.

Wonderful photos. I'm impressed by the quality. Also, it is nice to remember the names of the beautiful wildflowers that are becoming so rare around here.
