I went down to the county fairgrounds to get my Coyote Camper
out of storage. Everything checked out just
fine. It's ready to go!
Then I charged the battery on my lawn tractor to get ready for spring
lawn clean up.
The fishing boat got
a good vacuuming and the trolling motor was checked out as well.
I headed up to
Rochester and Gander Mountain to replace my leaky waders for trout fishing. Baseball is also definitely on my mind.
Perhaps a few more games to be taken in this
year as the Twins might be making a comeback with an improved pitching
staff. My little garden seed packages are
on immediate standby and it will be a great summer for flower gardening.
Oh just one caution. The way things have been going this so
called spring, I’m predicting rain, sleet and snow in a couple of days!!!!
Grrrrrrr!
I am so sorry that we got YOUR weather up here in the Pacific Northwest, TB. It's been cloudless skies and warmth for almost two weeks now. I'm ready to trade back! :-)
ReplyDeleteSummer dreaming is here again. Hope that snow melts soon! I planted some veggies already (cool weather stuff like cabbage, brussel sprouts, lettuce, etc. We have a camping trip reserved for Villa Nueva State Park (along the Pecos River in central NM) for late summer. You've inspired me. I plan to fish!
ReplyDeleteActually, we will have that first camping trip in early summer - late June!
ReplyDeletelove your summer plans. I do hope that our weather becomes more summer like!! SOON!
ReplyDeleteoh, dear!
ReplyDeleteDon't worry. The snow will eventually go away and the boys of summer can have at it.
ReplyDeleteI've got my seeds on standby, too. Luckily we've got a beautiful day here up north - I think I'm going to do some yard clean up and we've got ourselves our first home highschool ball game.
ReplyDeleteEveryone's fingers are crossed for strong sun to maybe (maybe) clear some ice off lakes for the fishing opener. It doesn't affect us much, but it's a pretty big deal for resort owners & local business.
If you live in Minnesota you must be part dreamer..dreaming of a season that is slow on coming! Looks like you are ready! I am sure the trout streams are unfrozen:)
ReplyDeleteWaiting for some sunshine here, most of the snow is gone.Like that camper.
ReplyDeleteYour last photo makes me shiver! Burrrrrrrr....
ReplyDeleteGoodness gracious, looks like you still got it bad. With weather like that, I guess skeeters aren't a big problem.
ReplyDeleteI think we might have spring here finally!
ReplyDeleteHey, live dangerously! Think positive. You are thinking positively when you list all your expected summer activities.
ReplyDeleteIf it ever gets here, you certainly are ready to hit the ground running. So glad the Twins are doing well. So far, my Marlins have the bottom of Major League Baseball sewed up tight.
ReplyDeleteHey, TB! Drive up North, it was in the 60s today and 70s for the next few. No snow in view. I think this may be IT!
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Jo, Stella and Zkhat
Hi tb...it seems as though spring by-passed your area....that's no good!! Let's hope summer comes and you can do all the things you're dreaming about! (I really like your camper!!)
ReplyDeleteLooks like your activities might be on hold for awhile -- maybe you should have waxed your skies -- barbara
ReplyDeleteOh man!!! That Mother Nature is just taking you for a spin isn't she??? I am thinking you should give up baseball and perhaps get into curling... ;)
ReplyDeleteSending you good thought and warm wishes that you get spring soon!
xo Catherine
I heard you'd gotten snow. Mother Nature has a wicked sense of humor. I shall spend thawing vibes your way.
ReplyDeleteYou'll be glad for those new waders. Had a cold shock last week then remembered I'm due for a pair--somehow, the leak didn't seem so bad with the 60+ deg waters of last August...
ReplyDeletegood weather and natural scenario is very nice.thanks for sharing this.
