So on a blustery Minnesota afternoon last January I whipped up some Ham and Three Bean soup for lunch and plunked down in my recliner for a quiet afternoon of reading. For further details click on Mark Twain above to jump to Troutbirder II.
Well I didn't read ALL afternoon...:)
Those naps that sneak up on you are the best!
ReplyDeleteHi Troutbirder - I bet it was a fascinating book ... seems like it - cheers Hilary

Ah, looks like the Sandman found a "victim".........
ReplyDeleteThat's not the best way to read a book but it's definitely more relaxing.
ReplyDeleteI read just like that sometimes.
ReplyDeleteNaps are a mighty fine way to spend time. Beats watching TV or internet blogs.
ReplyDeleteReading sometimes makes me sleepy too! :)
ReplyDeleteI've read a couple of McCullough's books. The one about Brooklyn Bridge and the one about the Panama canal. And I like napping too.
ReplyDeleteHa, ha, your wife caught you napping. McCullough writes good books. I'll have to get this one.
