Reading and Glasses

Having a good time last night at a Mississippi riverside bar and grill with friends, I surely had my glasses with me as the photo shows in my pocket. So much for finishing the book I was reading today . I can't find them. Wonder if.....?  In any case a book review was in order so I'll have to substitute Plan B.  An insight into some of the pluses and minuses of my well into 70 aging process.
A profound list is on Troutbirder II which you may quickly reach by clicking Mark Twain above...:)

  1. I routinely buy several pairs of readers at once. I don't lose them, just misplace them in the house. So I simply go to another pair until the missing ones turn up. BTW: I buy relatively cheap "drugstore readers" so I'm not out a lot of money when my vision changes and I have to replace all those pairs.

  2. I have a pair I wear for distance...all of the time, since my childhood. Recently, I have started using readers. I need some bifocals! lol

  6. Oops. I guess luckily for me, my readers are also my see'ers so I never lose them.

  7. I had been mainly listening to books. thinking my online habits had destroyed my attention span. Now, with spanking new progressive lenses, reading paper books is a pleasure again. PTL for Clearly, glasses online for a third of the price I would pay at the optometrist and they are great!
