It was early fall in 2010 and we had just returned from an exhilirating, as well as exhausting, first time visit to Ireland. In every respect it lived up to and even exceeded our high expectations. We made new friends from among the congenial group we toured with. That group was led by Fathers Steve Peterson & Thomas Loomis from southeastern Minnesota parishes.
The wit and wisdom behind all those friendly Irish eyes was, indeed, a joy to behold. I was somewhat new to blogging then when I sat down to share some of our journey with my fellow bloggers...
Dear Troutbirder, I began blogging in 2011 and then stopped in 2014. Starting again this year, I found myself hesitant about exactly what to do. A new beginning. So I'm pleased that you are going back to the beginning and will begin to share your Irish trip with us. Peace be to you.

ReplyDeleteI love Ireland. My first husband was from the North but I took my second (and last) husband to the South. You always get a good welcome in Ireland.

DeleteMy husband and I honey-mooned in Ireland in January, 2006. It was "off-season" and so lodging was somewhat limited. It was a beautiful week as we drove on the "wrong side of the road" and dodged pink and blue painted sheep on marrow roads through the country-side. Love to return to Ireland, perhaps in the high season.
