Cold

It's been a struggle to accomplish much of anything the last couple of weeks. I've been dozing a lot with cold, sinus and sore throat medicine. They say if you doctor a cold it'll only take about a week to cure it. Otherwise let it run it's course unaided and it be gone in about 7 days. It's actually been almost three weeks.
Lots of tossing and turning and hacking at night yet I managed to hear a barred owl calling in our woods. Hoot Hoot......Hoot Hoot. "Who Cooks.....For Me.?" Well Mrs. T that's for sure. Plenty of chicken noodle soup, Jello and hot tea. I think I'll make it......... :)

  2. With warm weather coming in and lots of nice days it is no fun confined home being sick. Hope you feel better.

  3. ACK! You've got The Crud - it's going around here, too. What's with this 3-weeks deal, anyway?!?

  5. Get feeling better Ray. Surely it can't last much longer!

We're off to our river cruise in Holland and Belgium tomorrow, and I'm very excited about it based on those great pictures you posted recently.

  6. Hope you feel better soon. Three weeks is a long time for a cold. It sounds like you're in good hands, however. Take care.

  10. Sorry you're under the weather so to speak. Nothing worse than a bad cold in the springtime. We have a gray, windy, nasty day at 36 degrees with rain which is supposed to turn to snow. Enjoy your snooze!

  11. Did you see a REAL Doctor..did you have a sinus infection? Us old people have to stick together..Far Guy was sick awhile back..it took him three weeks to get over it. I hope you are all better before Spring gets here:)

This nurse says "go to the doctor!" At three weeks it is no longer a cold.

  15. Hope you're back on your feet! Nothing like a sinus infection (and the meds that treat it) to knock you out. Bet Simba liked somebody to cuddle with all day, though.

PS: Watch the film "Haichiko: a dog's tale" if you haven't already. Mrs Rover & I watched it over the weekend & we haven't cried like that since Travis shot Ol' Yeller...
