A-Fib

No no. Its not a tall tale or fabrication. It's a
  heads up to my blogging friends. I’ll be doing day long tests at the WFMC (thats World Famous MayoClinic ) tomorrow and then a cardiac “tune-up” on Thursday at St. Mary’s hospital in Rochester.  It’s called an ablation which will deal with my A-Fib (atrial fibrillation) probem. In laymans terms the engine is very good but the electrical system is misfiring and annoys me no end. I expect to be back on line next week firing evenly on all cylinders…J

    Mayo is the place to go for this. Have they done a HIS bundle study yet (electrophysiology study)? Good luck, you can feel confident.

    They should be able to fix you all up..better than new! I will be thinking of you! Looking forward to hearing all about it when you get back to blogging. My cousin, the woodcarver and his wife are there for tests..three to five days worth...they left this morning.
    It is world famous..look out for some famous people:)

    You are fortunate to be able to go to the Mayo Clinic. As a 40 yr RN, I cannot remember their reputation as ever being less than stellar. Today they are known for their excellent care at reasonable cost. If all hospitals were like them we would not be in our current heath care dilemma.

    Oh dear! My husband had the same problem, but he's been out of a-fib for years now. It can take some tinkering to get the meds right. He also needed a pacemaker, and now he's feeling so good he's running in 5K races for the first time in his life. You'll get through this. I'll be thinking of you.
